It's a device that won't let you sit still during your favorite action movie--and that's the point.
A man from France is on a quest to bring a motion generating gadget to the masses.
It’s called Immersit—and it’s a plug and play device that slips under your existing furniture.
Founder Valentin Fage says in a Kickstarter video that the gadget creates a variety of movement patterns and vibrations during your movie and gaming time.
According to the crowdfunding page, Immersit uses software to translate what’s happening on your screen into movements for your couch or chair.
You can reportedly custom set the motions for different screen actions, too.
People seem to want this addition to their living room: Immersit’s Kickstarter campaign exceeded its goal early with pledges totaling more than $102,000.
Early birds spent about $560 to get the device with shipments expected to go out in October.
