A judge denied lowering bond for Charles Pugh during a court hearing held this morning.
The former Detroit City Council president and Fox 2 News anchor is set to go to trial for multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct. His trial is expected to begin on November 7.
Prosecutors say Pugh had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy after meeting him during a visit to Fox 2 News while Pugh was an anchor there in 2003.
Pugh's bond is currently $150,000.
