The Motor City Pride Festival is happening now in Hart Plaza.
The festival celebrates equality and Michigan's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
Motor City Pride continues on Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
A pride parade is also being held Sunday. It kicks off at noon at Griswold and Fort. The parade will run down Griswold to Jefferson, ending at Hart Plaza.
