Michigan's largest LGBTQ celebration will return to Hart Plaza in Detroit this weekend.
"Motor City Pride" events kick off Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. when the entrance will open for a festival.
A candlelight vigil will follow at 8 p.m. Saturday to remember victims of hate crimes.
The public will be able to gather and pay their respects to those in the LGBTQ community who lost their lives to violence.
On Sunday, events start back up at 11 a.m. with a pride parade at Fort and Griswold in downtown Detroit.
Afterwards, the party will continue when revelers can enjoy five stages of entertainment, and plenty of food and beer from various venders. Day two of the festival is expected to wrap up at 7 p.m. Sunday night.
