An Amber Alert for two missing children from southwest Michigan has been canceled.
4-year-old Nova and 3-year-old Luna Perez were missing from Coloma, Mich. and were found safe in Colorado.
We're told their father, 24-year-old Alex Perez, is in police custody.
According to the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office, Perez was arrested around 1:09 a.m. Friday when officers investigated a parked car that was running with lights on.
A deputy observed Perez in the driver's seat and two children in the back. After checking the license plate, they found Perez was a suspect in a double murder, kidnapping and AMBER Alert.
Perez was taken into custody and the children were taken into protective custody and are being cared for.
