TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) — The city of Troy announced Sunday that come Monday, city offices will remain closed in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. That includes the city hall building and the department of public works.
Troy officials recently announced the closure of the Troy Community Center and Troy Public Library. The city has a tentative plan to reopen these city facilities on Monday, March 30.
Although facilities will be closed, the city council is still expected to hold its Zoning Board of Appeals, city council and planning commission meetings during the week, but are discouraging the public from unneccessarily attending out of precaution.
