It's unclear at what capacity that member is involved at the school. The school says the individual had been self-isolating and receiving treatment, and the health department is now following protocol regarding others who may have come in contact with the person.
Now, UM-Dearborn facilities have increased efforts to sanitize and disinfect buildings on campus.
A letter from Provost Susan E. Alcock and Chancellor Domenico Grasso states that students will begin classes remotely starting Monday.
