Website dedicated to metro Detroit restaurants offering take-out & delivery amid coronavirus outbreak

(WXYZ) — A new website launched over the weekend is dedicated to letting metro Detroiters know about restaurants offering take-out and delivery amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The website, called Detroit Food Updates, is from BMG Media and the owner of the Beyond Juice locations across metro Detroit.

It comes as Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced she will be temporarily closing all bars and restaurants starting at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 16. Those restaurants will be allowed to offer take-out and delivery service, but no dine in service.
