Election Day 2016 has finally arrived and people across the US are lining up around to cast their ballots.
Voters will choose a new president in today's election from Donald J. Trump, the Republican Party candidate, Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party candidate, Jill Scott, the Green Party candidate and Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate.
Also up for grabs are 34 US Senate seats, and all 435 US House seats, in addition to many state and local seats and referendums.
