A 34-year-old Florida woman is accused of handing over driving duties to a 7-year-old boy and recording it on video, authorities said.

Kwaniqua Glenn of Altamonte Springs was arrested Thursday and charged with child neglect and allowing an unauthorized person to drive a motor vehicle.

In early October, a Seminole County school resource deputy was made aware of a video posted to social media that showed a young child driving a vehicle on a public street, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.

In the video, the boy was sitting alone behind the wheel of the vehicle while an adult woman passenger recorded the event and made comments as he drove. The child was not wearing a seatbelt.

The school resource deputy recognized the boy as a student at the school where the officer is assigned. The deputy contacted the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Children Unit.

The investigation revealed the woman identified as Glenn met the boy at his bus stop in unincorporated Altamonte Springs, a Seminole County Sheriff's Office news release states. She told the boy to get in the driver's seat and drive through the neighborhood.

It was determined the child drove at an average speed of about 28 miles per hour for about a third of a mile. No property was damaged, and no one was injured as a result of the incident.

Seminole County sheriff's officials did not clarify the relationship between Glenn and the boy.
