It appears that Sen. Tim Kaine might have backup plan in case the whole vice president thing doesn’t work out — rapping.
Truthfully, Kaine probably won’t be dropping bars any time soon. But in case he does, he has a stage name picked out and ready to go.
Kaine recently made a campaign call to Charlotte radio station Power 98 FM. His call was preceded by “No Problem,” a song by Chance the Rapper, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. After the radio host introduced Kaine, he suggested that “they call me Lil Kaine.”
This isn’t the senator’s first attempt at humor. During his speech at the Democratic National Convention, he broke out a Donald Trump impression that probably wouldn’t earn him an audition at Saturday Night Live.
