Actor Faizon Love, best known for his role in "Elf," was arrested in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday as video captured the 48-year-old actor getting into a fight with staff at the John Glenn International Airport.

According to Franklin County Municipal Court documents, Love, a resident of Columbus, was arraigned before a judge on Wednesday. Love pleaded not guilty on assault charges before a judge, and was released on a $2,000 bond.

In a video released by the airport to WCMH-TV, a man who appears to be Love is seen talking to airport staff at a counter. Love then goes around the counter and approaches another employee. After a few seconds, Love apparently wrestles the employee to the ground several times, as other employees try to break up the scuffle.

On his way out of the courtroom on Wednesday, Love was asked if he had a message to the airport staff member he allegedly assaulted. Love said, "Watch your mouth boy."

"Somebody lost their cool and somebody got taught a lesson,"Love told a reporter from WSYX-TV

If found guilty, Love could face up to six months in jail.

Besides appearing in "Elf," Love also has credits in "Couples Retreat," and "Life as We Know It." He also has appeared in several episodes of the ABC show "Black-ish."

Love is currently on tour as a standup comedian, as he has a performance scheduled in Columbus next week.
