(WXYZ) — Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a possible shooting on the Southfield Freeway between 7 Mile Road and 8 Mile Road.
Police say on Thursday, a driver was traveling northbound on the freeway and saw a white SUV with window tint swerving in front of him.
Thinking the SUV driver was drunk, police say the driver backed off the vehicle, and as he continued, heard a bang.
Once he arrived at his destination, he located what he though was a bullet hole in his vehicle and filed a report with police.
MSP says the freeway is closed to search for evidence and advised motorists to avoid the area.
