Nearly 1,500 customers without power in Washtenaw County, DTE reports

WASHTENAW COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Almost 1,500 customers are without power in Washtenaw County Wednesday morning, according to DTE.

The company says 1467 customers lost power around 5:16 a.m. The outages were caused by an "equipment problem," DTE says.

Residents along the western edge of Canton Township were also affected.

Estimated restoration time is 8:45 a.m.
