WESTLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) — A new virtual reality arcade is now open in metro Detroit.

The Sandbox Virtual Reality Arcade is the first of its kind in Westland, according to a press release.

"If you ever wanted to be “IN” a video game, here is your chance. Become a part of the several video games including first person shooters, strategy and RPG’s."
"This is the next level of entertainment. It is hard to explain a VR experience until you try it. Virtual Reality will amaze people of all ages. We have already entertained people from the ages of 4 to 89."

The arcade is also offering a free demo just for stopping by. A grand opening event will take place Wednesday, March 13 at 3:30 p.m.
