One local company is hoping to shed some *light* on a more streamlined approach to manufacturing.
Paul Ryznar, a former auto exec turned Detroit inventor, has developed Light Guide Systems through his Novi-based company OPS Solutions.
Light Guide Systems uses augmented reality technology to project light instructions for product builds. Ryznar says the system can be used to assemble products ranging from pizzas to pacemakers.
The company recently partnered with Hewlett-Packard to launch a portable version of the system.
Ryznar tells 7 Action News he knew he had a good idea after the system taught his then 14-year-old twin daughters to build fuel injectors.
