"Next Level" helps prepare young people for tomorrow

College counselors and mentors offer advice

Danielle Hughes, Co-Founder of Detroit Speaks,Inc.and Desha Jones, Founder of The Neema Project have collaborated to expose youth in Metro Detroit to college and career choices beyond their current circumstances.
 
The event, which will take place on November 19, 2016 will give attendees (ages 13 to 21
a chance to network and become familiar with young professionals who are dominating their current fields.
 
Representatives in local media, education, medical fields and entrepreneurs will share their stories of triumph and success to inspire the next generation of fruitful leaders.

The event will be held at Wayne County Community College and an academic advisor will be in attendance to aid attendees with questions regarding college and career choices immediately following.

Admission is free and lunch will be provided for all participants.
