Due to weather/wind, departure traffic destined to LaGuardia Airport in New York is currently experiencing delays averaging 53 minutes, according to the Command Center.

4:50 a.m. Tuesday

There are no destination-specific delays reported at Detroit Metro Airport, as of 4:50 a.m. Tuesday.

As for general departure delays, traffic is experiencing gate hold and taxi delays lasting about 15 minutes or less, according to the FAA's Air Traffic Control System Command Center. Arrival traffic is experiencing airborne delays of 15 minutes or less.

The status information are indicative of general airport conditions and are not flight-specific, the Command Center says.

Flyers are urged to check with their airline to determine whether their flight is affected by weather conditions.
