Non-fatal shooting investigation at another Detroit coney island

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting at another coney island in Detroit.

On July 22 around ‪3:50 a.m. in the 9900 block of Gratiot, a 30-year-old male victim was in the drive-thru line at a coney island when he got into an verbal altercation with the suspect.

Police say the verbal dispute escalated into the suspect getting a weapon from his vehicle and shooting the victim.

The suspect was last seen in a yellow Monte Carlo and believed to be armed.

The victim drove himself home where police and medics were called. He was transported to the local hospital and listed in stable condition, according to DPD.
