Nonprofit partners with Southfield law enforcement to help students in need

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — 411 Therapy, a local nonprofit, has partnered with the Southfield Police Department, Friends of the Southfield Police and Southfield Public Schools to provide assistance to students at Levey Middle School.

Five students at the middle school received $500 in new clothing. The gift was presented to students Thursday, May 16 at the middle school.

In the past, Friends of the Southfield Police and 411 Therapy have partnered to support Shop with a Hero for Christmas, the Friends of the Southfield Police Annual Golf Outing, Southfield Police Annual Harding/McMahon Toy Drive, Southfield Police Coat Drive and 411 BBQ Lunch for the South Oakland Homeless Shelter.

The organizations have also helped students in need at Levey Middle School by providing them with tablets, Easter baskets and dinner for their families through Orchards Children's Services.
