NOVI, Mich. (WXYZ) — Novi police have located James Elvis-Hector Abbate, 41, who was earlier reported missing and described as a "vulnerable" adult.

Abbate went missing around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14 from the Comfort Zone, 39595 W. 10 Mile Road. He was last seen wearing a gray winter hat, a black and white plaid shirt, tan pants and a brown coat.

Additionally, police say Abbate was likely alone and on foot when he went missing. He has a history of leaving his home for long periods of time without letting anyone know. Abbate is a resident of Farmington Hills and has before been located in Detroit.
