It’s Superwoman, it’s Batman…No, it’s a Henry Ford nurse!
Several members of the Emergency Department at Henry Ford in Detroit showed their true colors by dressing up as superheroes.
Armed with personal protective equipment and their superhero armor, the staff filmed a short video of the dream team.
The idea came from Nurse Erin Cavanagh, who says she’s always seen her staff as fearless, but now they’re in a constant battle to save patients' lives.
“I’ve been so proud of our team,” says Cavanagh, R.N., a clinical coordinator. “They’re like superheroes in how they’ve adapted to the situation. But I’ve known that for 20 years.”
