(WXYZ) — An Oakland County man won an $872,165 Fantasy 5 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery.
The player bought his winning ticket online.
"I don't play often, but I usually buy online when I do because it's so convenient," said the player. "A couple of hours before the drawing, I logged in and bought a ticket."
He plans to save his winnings.
Michigan Lottery says about 97 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to vendors and retailers.
