The firefighter has been identified as Jack Wiley Jr., who was 29 years old and was working as a firefighter for four years.

An off-duty Detroit firefighter was found shot to death in his home on the city's west side around 9 a.m.
Police say his home, located in the 15000 block of Penrod, was ransacked. His vehicle, a black 2011 Ford Expedition, is missing.
