The officer injured in the stabbing attack at Bishop International Airport in Flint has been released from the hospital.
Lt. Jeff Neville's wound was described as a 12-inch laceration from the front of his neck to the back. He was treated at Hurley Medical Center in Flint.
Police say Amor Ftouhi stabbed Neville in the neck at the airport on June 21.

Ftouhi reportedly tried to purchase a gun during a show at the Gibraltar Trade Center in Mount Clemens. We're told he was denied because of his citizenship.
Genesee County Commissioner Mark Young posted a photo of Lt. Neville in the hospital with his favorite cup of coffee from Tim Hortons on Sunday. He appeared to be in good spirits.
