An oil spill in Macomb County has officials searching for the cause. It was discovered on Thursday at the Teske Drain near 15 Mile and Maybury in Clinton Township.
The Clinton Township Fire Department, Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Macomb County Public Works all responded.
They hired a contractor and set up a series of absorbent booms.
By Friday, they were able to get all of the material out of the water, but they are still trying to determine the source.
