MILFORD, Mich. (WXYZ) — A condo is for sale in the Village of Milford and it’s getting a lot of attention. That’s because it used to be a church that was converted into six units.

The development took place a few years ago, but the owner of one unit says it’s time to put it on the market.

“I love the structure. I love the architecture,” said Pamela Stevenson about her condo at Bell Tower Condominium building. “It just feels good to live here.”

Pamela and husband Gary bought the condo unit four years ago but now they’re selling it.

“I didn’t buy it because of the religious perspective, necessarily, even though I was raised Catholic.," he said. "I really love the aesthetics.”

This historic Catholic church was converted to six condo units a few years ago. The developer kept much of the look the same from outside.

Inside, you will see the original stain glass window, stonework and some handcrafted artwork covered in copper. The one bedroom, 2.5 bath loft is listed for more than $379,000. There is a shared common area in the bell tower.

Pamela posted it on Facebook and within hours got more than 200 comments. So, if you want to move into this "holy home," say a prayer and then make an offer.

“I love it and hope somebody else will love it as much as I do,” she said.
