(WXYZ) — Customers can get two free classic sides from Olga's Kitchen on Tuesday, May 21, the birthday of Olga Loizon, founder of the Michigan-based restaurant chain.
Loizon would have been 93. She died in January.
The items to choose from include The Olga Salad, Olga’s Seasoned Curly Fries or a cup of Olga’s famous Peasant or Broccoli Soup. All items are free with any dine-in purchase.
This deal will be available at all 27 Olga's Kitchen locations.
Customers will also have a chance to write a message for the late founder, about how she has inspired them. Those messages will be displayed on community boards at each restaurant.
