DETROIT (WXYZ) — One man is dead and another person injured in a shooting on Detroit's west side Thursday morning.
The shooting happened near a liquor store around 2 a.m.

7 Action News reporter Matt Smith spoke with the victim's family who identified the deceased as 37-year-old Raymond King.

Police and EMS found King near the passenger door of a vehicle at Schaeffer and Allonby just outside the Capital Market Liquor store – just across the street from a set of apartments.
Officers say the victims met at the location to purchase narcotics, when a white Dodge minivan pulled up and two suspects jumped out firing multiple shots. The suspects then sped off southbound on Schaeffer from the liquor store.
Police released this description of the suspects:
SUSPECT 1.) B/M/18-20, WEARING DREAD LOCKS HAIRSTYLE, LIGHT COMPLECTED, ARMED HANDGUN
SUSPECT 2.) BM/18-20,
BOTH SUSPECT'S FLED IN A WHITE DODGE CARAVAN
