(WXYZ) — One pediatric influenza death has been confirmed in the state for the 2018-2019 flu season, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The health department did not release the location of where the case was reported and confirmed.
Nationally, 34 influenza-associated pediatric deaths have been reported so far in this year's flu season, officials say.
