DETROIT (WXYZ) — Organizations impacted by the construction of the Gordie Howe Bridge can now apply to receive community benefits.
Those that qualify for benefits must be located in or servicing the area near the Delray neighborhood in southwest Detroit.
Eligible organizations can submit funding applications until Jan. 31, 2020, for proposed initiatives ranging from $1,000 and $25,000 for events, programming and infrastructure improvements that will benefit the area.
The investment allowance will be given from 2020 to 2024.
