(WXYZ) — The owner of the Hamtramck landmark, Polish Village Cafe, has passed away.
Thaddeus J. "Doc. Ted" Wietrzykowski died on Dec. 7 at age 82. He was also a doctor of chiropractic medicine and a U.S. Army veteran.
He will lie in state on Dec. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sweetest Heart of Mary Church on 4440 Russell Street in Detroit.
