ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) — In May, the city of Royal Oak announced a partnership with local business to launch the "Thank You For Parking" campaign, which encourages visitors and residents to park in one of 2,000 spaces in the three city-owned parking garages downtown.
That program is continuing and here are the current incentives:
- Lockhart’s, 202 E 3rd St., offered $5 off any bill over $20 from June 1 to June 7 by showing a garage parking receipt
- The newly renovated Royal Oak Brewery, 215 E 4th St, is offering $5 off any bill over $20 from June 8 to June 14 by showing a garage parking receipt.
- Blaze Pizza, 112 S Main St, is offering buy one pizza get one free from June 15 to June 21 by showing a garage parking receipt

- Namaste Yoga, 309 S Troy St is offering 10% off a 12 or 24 class package, from June 22 to June 28 by showing a garage parking receipt.
(Class packages expire 9/30).
- Rock on Third, 112 E 3rd St , is offering 20% off of bills from June 29 to July 5 by showing a garage parking receipt.
- Bruegger’s Bagels, 201 S Main St, is offering a FREE medium drip coffee, iced coffee, fountain soda or tea with any bagel or sandwich purchase from July 6 to July 12 by showing a garage parking receipt.
