The City of Monroe has canceled a drinking water warning and boil water advisory.
It was issued Thursday for the service area along LaPlaisance Road, south of Hull Road to the south end of Bolles Harbor.
The city now recommends that customers flush their plumbing by running each cold water tap for 60-90 seconds and then running hot water taps for five minutes.
