CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A fatal crash in Chesterfield Township left a passenger dead and driver critically injured Friday night.
Around 10:35 p.m., Chesterfield Police, Fire and Medstar Ambulance responded to the scene of a single vehicle crash on East Russell Schmidt Boulevard near 22 Mile Road.
Responders discovered 30-year-old Rochester Hills resident Jeremy Ahnen dead from his injuries at the scene. The driver, a 46-year-old New Baltimore resident, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
