DETROIT (WXYZ) — A pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning after being hit by a car on Detroit's east side, a Detroit Police Department spokesperson tells us.
The crash happened at the intersection of Houston-Whittier & Hayes, just after midnight.
We're told the victim, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation, with DPD saying the driver involved stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.
