TROY (WXYZ) — A person of interest is in police custody after a man's body was found outside of a Belle Tire on Monday morning, Troy police say.
According to police, a man, believed to be in his late 30s, was found dead outside of the Belle Tire at 4966 Rochester Road partially covered by the overnight snow.
The death was ruled a homicide after a stab wound was discovered, police say. A knife was also reportedly recovered in the parking lot.
Troy police say a person of interest is now in custody and that they are working to notify family of the victim before releasing any additional information.
