DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police say an 18-year-old man is in stable condition after he was shot in the face near Grand Circus Park in downtown Detroit. Officers are looking for three possible suspects involved in the shooting.

The incident happened Wednesday just before 5 p.m. near Adams and Woodward, which is near Comerica Park and the Fillmore.

According to police, the man was standing on Adams when three people came up to him. There was a fight and a shot was fired, hitting the victim in the face and neck.

It was all caught on surveillance video, just about 25 yards from the QLINE stop at Adams and Woodward. Police were able to quickly put out a description of the suspects – two men and a woman.

A person was taken into custody on unrelated charges and then released, police say. The three suspects are still on the loose. The two black men are believed to be in their 30s, and the female suspect is in her 20s.

This is an ongoing investigation. If you have information on the shooting, please call the Detroit Police Department.
