Detroit police are searching for several drivers who they say struck and killed a woman.
It happened Thursday night on the city's west side near Winston and McNichols.
Detroit police say the woman was hit by a car and that driver just kept on going. Then, several other vehicles hit the woman's body and those drivers didn't stop either, according to police.
Police have released a photo of a person of interest wanted in connection to the hit-and-run. Right now, they aren't saying he is a suspect, but he may be a witness.
The victim was a 66-year-old special needs woman who lives in a nearby group home.
We're told she was crossing the street and stopped in the center lane to wait for cars to pass. She was clipped by a passing car and then hit by several other vehicles.
