GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. — A Metro Detroit photographer is no longer doing portraits, but rather "porchrait" sessions -- at a safe social distance.

Photographer John Martin photographed his Grosse Pointe Park neighbors in "various states of homebound bliss" on their porch.

Martin says his work has been postponed through April so he decided to find creative ways to promote neighborly bonding during these times.

He's hoping the sessions will be for a limited time only, until his work picks up.

The "porchrait" sessions, all seven of them, were done in about 35 minutes, while Martin stayed at least six-feet away.

Martin says he'll be donating 50 percent of his profits to local eateries to be delivered to health care workers.
