LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Lincoln Park residents with items damaged by flooding can set them outside tonight.
The city will conduct a special curbside pick-up for those who suffered basement flooding due to heavy rains from this week.
Curbside pick-up will be held on May 4 beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Residents are asked to limit the items to only those damaged as a result of basement flooding, the city says. Neighbors should also avoid placing cans of wet paint and other hazard substances outside during the special collection.
The Lincoln Park DPS facility on 500 Southfield Road will also accept flood-damaged items Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
