WYANDOTTE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Two suspects accused of breaking into a dozen vehicles in Wyandotte have been arrested and face charges of larceny, according to the Wyandotte Police Department.
The two were spotted by a citizen in the 200 block of Riverbank. The citizen reported to police that two suspicious people were in the area, and once officers arrived they attempted to flee in a vehicle.
Police caught the suspects and found "a substantial amount of property," such as cell phones, GPS devices, change and other things in their possession.
The two accused in the thefts are expected to be arraigned either Tuesday or Wednesday, police said.
