Police ask neighbors to keep eye out for loose dog in Auburn Hills

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Auburn Hills Police are asking residents to keep an eye out for a loose dog Friday morning.

Police say officers spotted and tried to rescue the dog on Alberta near Baldwin around 2:30 a.m., but the pup quickly ran off.

According to police, the dog has been missing since Dec. 22, 2018 when his collar slipped off. He has been spotted in various places across Oakland County including 32 and Van Dyke and more recently Great Lake crossing.

Officers are looking to return the dog to his family.
