Multiple gunshots can be heard on the police dash cam video as a Waterford Police officer races to assist another officer who had just opened fire on a motorist.
Police say that motorist was 34-year-old Tiffany Edwards, and she had just struck an officer with her Dodge Challenger in her desperate attempt to avoid capture.
Waterford Police began chasing the vehicle after a 17-year-old girl says the driver of that car followed her home.
Her parents called 911 when the driver got out of the car and began walking in the rear of their house.
When officers arrived, the suspect took off at a high rate of speed.
Edwards was eventually arrested after a short foot chase. She remains locked up, charged with multiple felonies including assault.
