DETROIT (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police are on scene of rollover crash on Belle Isle Thursday morning.
Troopers say a driver was traveling inbound to the island on the bridge, missed their turn and vaulted over the hill at the park's entrance.
The vehicle rolled over, trapping the driver inside. Detroit Fire was able to remove the driver from the vehicle.
According to police, the driver is being taken to a hospital after "suffering from some cold weather injuries."
The investigation is ongoing.
