INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting overnight.
On June 30 around 1:05 a.m., Special Investigation Section detectives and troopers from Metro South responded to the area of Inkster Road and Kitch in the city of Inkster for reports of a shooting.
The 16-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital with a non-fatal injury, authorities say.
The investigation is on going and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently unknown.
