DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating two non-fatal shootings and one fatal shooting in the city from overnight.
Here is preliminary information from the Detroit Police Department:
Fatal Shooting – 9100 block of Auburn
On Friday, Sept. 4 around 9:50 p.m., a 44-year-old man was fatally shot in the 9100 block of Auburn in what appeared to be a robbery by two armed unknown males, according to DPD.
Police say the suspects ran off from the location in an unknown direction. Medics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.

Non-Fatal Shooting – Gratiot and Harper
On Saturday, Sept. 5 around 1:51 a.m. in the area of Gratiot and Harper, a 30-year-old man reported that he was walking when he heard shots, felt pain and realized he was shot.
Police say the victim ran to his home where 911 was called. Medics took him to a local hospital where he was treated and listed in temporary serious condition.
The investigation is ongoing.

Non-Fatal Shooting – 17500 block of Westmoreland
On Saturday, Sept. 5 around 5 a.m. in the 17500 block of Westmoreland, a 39-year-old woman reported she was inside the location when an unknown suspect(s) fired multiple gunshots into her home, according to police.
Medics transported her to a local hospital where he was treated and listed in temporary serious condition.
Police say the circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
