Police are searching for the person behind the home invasion and shooting in St. Clair Shores early Thursday morning.
Police say a 21-year-old man who was shot underwent surgery and is expected to survive. It happened in the 23000 block of Euclid off Jefferson near 13 Mile.
The victim, Joe Blystone, was shot in the back around 3:30 a.m. when someone broke into his upstairs unit.
We're told Blystone works for a roofing company and has quietly lived there for several monhs.
Right now, police say they have several good leads but have no one in custody.
