Police investigating Detroit drive-by shooting

A drive-by shooting on Detroit's west-side has neighbors in shock.

It happened in the 19700 block of Trinity.

Police tell us three men were walking on the sidewalk around 5:55 a.m. when a the driver of a car pulled up and opened fire.

Two men were hit, the third ran away.

Neighbor Jerome Williams heard the gunfire. He spent the morning watching police outside his front door.

"I just woke up to gunshots. Just woke up --heard shots and looked out to make sure all my family was okay and we just went back to bed."

A 25-year-old was hit in the back. An 18-year-old was hit in the leg.

Police tells us the victims have non-life threatening injuries.

We're told the victims are not cooperating, leaving investigators with no suspect car description and few clues to catch the shooter.

Detroit Police are still searching for answers in this early morning act of violence.
