INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police in Inkster are investigating a fatal crash involving an ice cream truck.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Carlysle and Middlebelt.
According to police, a vehicle disregarded a red light and ran into the ice cream truck. The truck then tipped over and caught fire. The truck driver died and the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody.
